Commuting - Are those good tires? (Continental Grand Prix MTB)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

My commuting bike is an MTB... Las summer I put some cheap slick tires on it with 80PSI max. What a difference did it makes compared to knobies. Now I'm looking for even harder tires, since my commuting is stickly on road, and I love speed :).
I was browsing around for tires when I found those : http://www.conti-online.com/generator/www/de/en/continental/bicycle/themes/tires/mtb/grand_prix_mtb/grand_prix_mtb_en.html,
and I saw they could go to 120PSIMax (rec 95PSI)...
Anyone use those? Are they any good? Will I burn in hell for putting "road" tires on an MTB?
Oh, one more thing, my suplier has them for sale, but 2 different kinds: Folding tires and normal. What is a folding tire?

No you won't burn.
Folding tires will do just that. They have a Kevlar bead and will fold up into a small bundle for shipping, carrying a spare, etc. Wire bead tires have to stay pretty much round, just as you would mount them.
I used nothing but Conti GPs on my road bikes for years. I loved them. The only reason I don't have them on my Homegrown is the 1" width. You would have to have really narrow MTB rims for a 1" tire to work right. If they start making a 1.25 or 1.5 I'm in there.

Look at the width chart on this link.
