After following Regular Guy's Nashbar touring frame buildup (which was fun to watch, by the way), I think it would be kind of cool to have a sub-forum (probably under Bicycle Mechanics) on bike builds, where each "episode" would include adding parts and bits until it's a complete bike.

Another fun thing along the same lines would be a Bicycle Makeover sub-forum, along with Bike Buildup, or it could be called "Straight Eye for the Queer Bike" or something like that! ;)

What you are reccomending could be a logistical nightmare. Remember you will be combining road mtn bike, bents, SS's, fixed gears and cyclocross bikes and folding bikes into one forum.

And with the Bicycle Make over idea, same prob as above.

I've always thought a sub-forum about buying new bikes would be good. So anyone wanting to buy a New bike can post it in there or ask questions, cause that would really beat that $500 mountain bike thread. Just a suggestion.
