I sometimes wonder why those Nigerian money laundering schemes still suck people in every day. Normal people, and I do consider myself to fall into that category even if I do like biking, would probably think that there'd be no fodder left in Australia for these schemes. Then you realise how totally vacant and daft so many people are.

Recently a colleague died and so I clear out his letter box so I can cancel gas, papers etc. Now here it is. 6 out of ten letters are condolence cards to the dead bloke. I laughed my arse off four hours. Then I realised that these knuckle heads need protecting from themselves.

Better yet, there's a story about a deceased women getting a letter from the IRS about not owing any taxes due to her condition, but that she was obligated to inform the IRS if there was any improvement.

Condolence cards? What's wrong with that?

People obviously cared about him and wanted to espress their sympathy.

That was nice of you to clean out his in box, though. No one at my work would dare take on that task for me if I die.

They sent condolence cards to a dead person.

If he's dead, how the hell is he supposed to read them?

Perzactly. That's why I imagine these morons would be lining up for schemes like the Nigerian money scam.

That's how I prefer to look at it.

Sometimes you don't have a person's home address to send it directly to any possible remaining relatives.
