The RIAA Radar is a tool that music consumers can use to easily and instantly distinguish whether an album was released by a member of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Sounds like the radar's purpose is to encourage people to NOT buy RIAA products and to encourage people to buy independent label music.

In essence, boycott the RIAA financially.

Interesting.

Which I try to do anyway. The RIAA can blow me. Seriously - I'm all for supporting the musical artists I like, but I'm not going to play their game. If they want to be petulant little b*tches and through their immature behavior dissuade me from supporting them because they don't like people not wanting to pay $20 for a fscking CD with one good track on it, that's fine. Again, the RIAA and it's constituents can blow me.

I think I agree with your opinions, but I'm not sure I understand how you really feel....:D
