Bicycle: The History by David Herlihy was published by Yale University Press about 4 months go.

Herlihy is a Harvard educated historian and former member of the Harvard Cycling Club. His book is now widely regarded as the best bicycle history book ever written and it is lavishly illustrated.

I think the bikers of this forum will find it an enormous reading treat.

I bought several of the books to give away. I consider it one of the best books I've ever read and I've read a few books in my more than 1/2 century of living.

Sounds interesting. I just looked and saw that several used copies are available through Amazon.com.

How do you know you're an old biker"? You read the headline on this thread and you think it says "A Reading Test for Old Bikers." Guess that's exactly what I need.

Oh, that is an easy one. It can be defined as the need for reading correction secondary to manifest presbyopia.
