Today I was using a park tool CCP-2 (crank puller) and after i got the crank off the screw inside the nut was stuck in the bottom bracket. Also, the nut on the actual tool is stuck very tight onto the handle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if clarification is needed what i wrote might be a little tough to understand.

Get a wrench and loosen it. Perhaps some clarification is in order

I think my crank puller was made for solid axles, so to prevent it from forcing its way into the axle I have to put a small washer over the end of the axle before I screw in the puller. If your handle had not gone down the middle of the axle, the crank would have been extracted before it jammed against the nut. I am sorry but this advice will only provide help for next time, I dont have any bright ideas for getting your extractor out from the axle except to apply some brute force to it.

Ok i fixed the first problem. Now, getting them back on. People have recommend a torque wrench. I dont know much about them but are there anyother ways to get the cranks back on without one?

A torque wrench is nothing more than a regular socket wrench with a guage on it to measure force (e.g., foot pounds). All you really need is a metric socket set.

And that can be an issue if you don't know what your are doing. www.parktool.com has torque specs for alot of things, and one can get pretty close on ft pounds if they have a 12" wrench handle.
