What are the significant differences in specs, price and experience?
I see that the Road can handle a 300lb rider while the Pocket is rated at 250lbs. In my case, thatis important. 6' tall and 260 round.

I was given a Catrike Pocket demo last weekend to use while waiting for my new one to arrive. I rode it for abut 12 miles. I loved it. I weight about 230 about 6'3". I wound up buying the dealers Road. Reasons: It is rated for 300 lbs. It has 27 speeds instead of Pockets 24. Its 1-1/2" inchs wider and easier for me to make u-turns. It has larger weels and a slightly longer weelbase. There is a 2 degree difference in the angle of the backrest with the Pocket being at a 45 degree angle and the Road being 43 degrees. I must say I did not notice any difference. I ride it without a headrest and I don't think I will need one. The clincher was my dealer gave me a $300 discount on this demo which did not have a mark on it. I rode it yesterday in the Bacchetta Rally in St. Petersburh Fl. I put about 19.5 miles on it and I love the Road also.

Weight seems to be one difference, in the rider and in the bike. The Pocket, I believe, makes a narrower track. You might want to email/call Catrike and see what other differences exist. Or Hostelshoppe, who carries their trikes.
