Has anyone seen that new Burger King commercial for their new Tendercrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch burger? The one with the black guy from Hootie and the Blowfish dressed as a cowboy with milkmaids and giant food and the Dallas Cowgirls dancing in it? Is it just me or is this the weirdest commercial ever? There's random sexual innuendo, a crappy song, and weird dancing-what else can a guy ask for? Is anyone else out there as distressed and confused as I am over this weird@$$ commercial?

I have had the song stuck in my head all day and thought maybe asking about it here would take this song off of the constant loop it's been on in my head all day. Yesterday I had Jefferson Starship's "We Built this City" stuck in my head, imagine trying to read "The Sound and the Fury" and every 5 seconds hearing "WE BUILT THIS CITY!" blasted in your head, it'll drive ya nuts. :p

Seen it, and yeah, it is seriously whack-a-doo.

Burger King is aiming for hip and mostly hitting weird. The girls in the bloomers with the big jars of ranch dressing are just disturbing.

Who's the hot chick on the swing? I know it isn't Carmen Electra, but looks kinda like her.

I still like that rollerskating Diet Coke commercial the best.

I'm not sure who it is, but the women are pretty hot. The problem is that they're hotness is overshadowed by the perplexing oddness of the spot.

I saw that commercial too. Got that weireded out feeling from it. Kinda felt like an old acid flashback. Disturbing combinations.

The chick on the swing is the incredibly hot Brooke Burke. (http://www.stuffmagazine.com/cover_girls/html/girl_319.html)

Yeah, the commercial pretty much sucks.. It reminds me of the Quiznos commercial because it just is so far out there..

BUT they have you talking about it, so I guess it is doing it's job..

The song's done to the tune of Big Rock Candy Mountain. It was featured in the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack. Much better than the BK version....

I'll take her over Carmen Electra anyday. :D

Evidently NONE of you guys EVER heard of the song: "Big Rock Candy Mountain"??
Incredible.

I do ind the buckets of "ranch dressing" to be quite disturbing. Why do the girls insist on eating ranch dressing. Condiments are not to be eaten alone!

Yeah, I heard that. It took me several times through to get what the song was. I think the overwhelming weirdness of the commercial coupled with Brook Burke overshadows the song a little bit.

Super hot scantily clad females suggestively eating gigantic sandwiches while gazing erotically into the camera, and we cannot forget it's a Burger King commercail. Sounds like darn good advertising to me! I love it.

WTF mate? That's messed up. Looks like Old Navy and Burger King have a lot in common. Mostly in the fact that their commercials make me want to blatantly spend my money on their competitor's products. I sort of regret buying the Hootie and Blowfish Greatest Hits album now, too.

I had to sign up to this forum just to talk about that commercial. Is it wierd, a little but that only adds to the novel of it all. I think its a hella good commercial.

Would you know it if it wasn't on the best selling "Oh Brother,.." soundtrack!?

The reason they make these commercials weird is because it makes you remember it, anyone seen the Yop commercial? It's weird and kinda funny in an odd way. But other than that, Burger King has lost it.

For those of us who can't get enough of it:

When my belly starts a-rumblin',
and I'm jonesin' for a treat.
I close my eyes for a big surprise,
the Tendercrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch.

I love the Tendercrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch,
the breasts they grow on trees.
And streams of bacon ranch dressing,
flow right up to your knees.

Tumbleweeds of bacon,
and cheddar paves the streets.
Folks don't front 'ya cause ya got the juice,
there's a train of ladies comin' with a nice caboose.
Never get in trouble, never need an excuse,
the Tendercrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch.

I love the Tendercrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch
no one tells ya to behave.
Your wildest fantasies come true,
Dallas cheerleaders give you shaves.
Red onions make you laugh instead,
and french fries grow like weeds.
Ya get to veg all day,
all the lotto tickets pay.
The king who wants you to have it your way,
that's the Tendercrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch.

:D :D :D

. . . . you say that like it's a bad thing.

AWESOME commericial. One of the best in years. Get with it ya'll.... it's 'sposed to be surreal. It's eye candy.

Who buys stuff just because of an ad on tv anyway?

that commercial is a plague!

Now when i try to listen to big rock candy mountain all I hear is hootie and see that creepy king with the plastic head. Now when I listen to it i'll also think about how I must be some kind of poseur because i've only heard of that song from the super popular o' brother soundtrack.

Not a bad thing at all :D I just wish those bloody flashbacks wouldn't happen at the most inoppertune times... like at a viewing and the corpse smiles and winks at me! Never while listening to Pink Floyd :(
