after reading a previous thread it got me thinking about a similar question...
As a person who sews silnylon tents (and a bunch of other things for a hobby but not sales), I have concidered making a full bike tarp (with velcro or zippers or laying the bike down against the ground and staking the tarp on top), but am also interested in the idea of making a saddle and drivetrain cover instead.
Does is matter if the whole bike or just parts are covered from the elements or is it neccessary at all???
thanks,
scott
BTW... silnylon is not hard to sew after practicing for a few minutes. Use of pins in the seams helps until you figure out to just hold the edges together yourself (but that is a different website all together).
