Foo - New Rig

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I got this last weekend. 102k miles. So far so good. Original paint and there is only a small part of rust that is hardly noticeable. Pictured in the background is the East side of the Crazy Mountain range. I am just outside Big Timber, MT. Anyone else own an older Land Cruiser?

Sweet Ride!! That model Crusier is bomb proof, roomy too. Do you have a Yakima rack to go on it? I had a 76 red LC, the 2 door FJ40, wish I had it back, got it stuck in mud once, never stuck in sand. Is there a winch I can't see? If you take care of the 6 banger you'll get 300K out of it. Auto or Stick? Way to go methos, nice toy.
Those old 'cruisers just take a beating. The 60series is getting tougher to find in really good condition. Great find. My brother has 1991 FJ62 and while slow, it's still hammering it out at just over 300k. I'm still looking for a FJ45 in decent shape.

Search here, when you fill out the seach info DON'T change the zip code. This is the Denver Post, tons of Land Cruisers, most with no rust. See what pops up. http://www.postnewsautos.com/

No winch. My cousin has a tan one same year with a winch and OD. The OD would be nice. I drove it back from Bismarck going 60-65 the whole time. It is a 4 speed. Going to be used for mountain bike excursions, camping, fishing and skiing. No rack yet, that is going to be one of the next purchases. It is absolutely cherry though. I can't believe how well maintained it was.
My friend has an old fj45 that has a million miles on it but runs fantastic.
