I am looking to buy a workstand (about time after about 8 years of doing my own work on my bikes). My current choice is the Parktools PRS-1 (?). I especially like the fact that I can get the wheel truing attachment. Any comments or suggestions on this stand or others?

Adrian, there was a thread a while ago about workstands that might help you.

Adrian,
I have used a Park PRS-1 for many years. It has held up good and I have been happy with it. I would recommend it for the home mechanic. I have not tried the truing attachment, though, so I can't comment on that part.
