Law and Order (all of them) and Csi (although is feels like it is.
I hate the two other csi's...I really wish I could be put in a room with the lead guy from csi miami, I have never been able to stand him.
Without a trace is decent.
Hmmm...Any bets on how long it will take for someone who doesn't watch tv to chime in in a self riteous manner?

I like the original CSI.
Haven't seen very many of the other ones since I don't have a TV but the original CSI always seems to be on when I'm at my grandparent's house.
So long Dennis... I'll miss you Tuesday nights. NYPD Blue is great!
Not gonna miss you too bad... The Shield comes back the following week. Michael Chiclets kicks ass

Law and Order, but I guess its to be expected from a person who is in the law field, the funny thing is,the show Law and Order, is so unrealistic in real life. But they do ok for an hour show.

I'm a Law and Order fan...although since Jerry Orbach died I haven't watched it at all.
Ditto on The Shield...man I love that show! Michael Chiklis is so cool...I loved him as the Commish too. Yikes...that was a long time ago!
Andy Griffin Show on TVland, Barney cracks me up!!
I'm a CSI addict. The only one I don't watch is CSI:NY because it's usually in conflict with "Full Throttle" on the History Channel. It's not that big of a deal to me as it will go syndicated soon and I'll catch up that way.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned 'The Wire' from HBO.
My folks are addicted to it, they got me the first season on dvd. I watched it all (13 episodes) in four nights.
Simply the richest and best-developed title in the police procedural genre.
Law and Order w/Mike Logan and Lenny Brisco
The Wire is a damn good show, though.

Homicide, best cop show in my lifetime. The characters had depth, they grew, changed, and were affected by things they saw. They bought a bar, killed thier girlfriend's fish, and committed suicide. It was about the cops, not the crime. It was the exact opposite of the Law and Order shows. Law and Order is about deep as Perry Mason. Someone commits a crime, the cops investigate, Jerry Orbach says something witty when they arrest the suspect, and Ice T says something gansta. They go to trial, people says some stuff, few plot turns, and 8 out of 10 times they get a guilty verdict. Other two times the guy gets off, and the show gets all thoughtfull. rinse and repeat. Very well done, the writing and acting is top notch, but its a formula show.
I also love Magnum P.I. A guy with a great 'stach lives in Hawai, on a rich guys estate for free. Drives his Ferrari, swims on his beach, and raids his wine celler. His two best friends own a chopper and a bar. When hes not swiming, surf-sking, or picking up hot chicks, hes investigeting crimes. Usually with more hot chicks as the clients. The definiton of the good life. Its a formula show too, but I like the formula better :p
Sopranos-definition of a crime show. I love it, but it leaves me feeling guilty for enjoying it so much.

None. :D
I love lots of crime shows. I never really took to NYPD Blue, Third Watch or CSI. I don't really watch Law and Order anymore, but I did like Law and Order Crime and Punishment, and I thought the new series looks good. Right now my faves are: Without a Trace, Cold Case Files, American Justice, The First 48. Also, lately I've been watching some of the Michael Jackson trial reenactments.

I'm glad someone finally mentioned Homicide. Great show, was really sad when it went off the air. As I remember, the series finale was pretty good? It really is a lot deeper than shows like Law and Order or CSI. I think CSI has some interesting story stuff, but the acting always strikes me as really cheesy.
I loved "Homicide" but it's not on anymore except in reruns. I was thinking of shows that are still first-run. I got tired of Law and Order for the same reasons, it was so formulaic.

"CSI-Las Vegas" all the way
Ohh also liking "Numbers"
does anyone watch "Lost" just wondering
Hawaii 5-0 really sucked, but the line "book um Dan-O" kind of stuck. Talk about bad hair, that show had it! They did have some cool bikini shots though.

Yeah... LOST is cool. Not another cop/lawyer/sex/reality drama show. It has it's like Twin Peaks in the sense that it fits no mold.
