In a manitou Stance Flow shock, is the Fluid Flow feature good or bad? I know its smoother, but I weigh about 175, and I heavy free ride. I would like to know if Fluid Motion is good for my weight, or just stay with coils. If its good, how often do you have to replace the fluid?

Its actually not very heavy freeriding, its nothing over 3 foot drops currently and wont go above 6 foot drops. I ride with him which is why i am answering this, and i also want to know the answer.

I think you guys are really confused. Fluid flow damping isnt a special feature, its just the kind of damping(ex. TPC+). Its a step down from TPC, not as buttery feeling, but still pretty damn good for the money...beats out low end Marz damping in my eyes. It lists the service intervals in the manual when you buy the fork. For FR and "hucks" FF is fine. There is also no fluid to replace, just the oil like any other fork...might want to call Manitou so you can get an understanding of what youre dealing with because you have no idea currently.

Don't bring me into this not knowing about shock/fork damping thing. I have grown up around cars and have also raced for many years, so I understand these things. I know what fluid damping is. I was only clarifying for Kona what heavy freeriding meant.
