I'm not sure about the particular part number, but I've been using a Novatec single speed mountain bike hub on my CrossCheck commuter for a couple of years. I wanted to be able to switch casette style cogs easily, and it was the ONLY alternative to the prohibitively expensive King hubs. So far it has proven itself to be very reliable. The bearings are turning as smoothly as the day I got it.

Yeah, they're okay. I think Formula (Taiwan) make them.
