Introductions - Hello, This is me and I'm new!!!!!!!!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I just got into cycling, and have an old trek 360 chromo and getting a new trek 1000 to get into the sport. Just using it for commuting and getting back into shape. I am getting married in 10 days and gotta impress the lady! Anyway, I'm in northern california and it rains..........a lot! I spend most of my riding time between the clouds here and trying not to destroy the bike in the mud and pot holes. I hope you guys can help me because I'm going to have lots of stupid questions I'm sure.

There are no stupid questions. Only questions you are too afraid to ask. Welcome.

Nice pick for a re-starter bike. I've been looking at those, as well as the 05' Raleigh Grandsports. I currently ride a Trek 7100 Hybrid. I'm getting more into road riding, and think having a non-suspension front fork will benefit me there. Plus they both have triple cranks for the hills around here.
