Hello everyone.

I've been biking for transportation for about 4 years now, but more intensively in the last 2. The longest distance I've traveled is a little over 30 miles. I do enjoy it, and have always dreamed of those really long bike trips.

I'm a student at ASU, and work graphic design and a couple other jobs on the side. When I get a few minutes spare time I work on my five aquariums. I have to get rid of one (should be 2, but I dont think I'd be able to make myself do both) due to time constraints. I'm majoring in Painting, a throroughly useless degree, lol. I also do some work in wood. I'm also working on fixing up my website and once I get it up, I'll share. (and if you want to buy anything off it, just let me know!) I'm also a nut for photography.

Hi Ladyjai:

Welcome to the forums. I'm down here in Cochhise County next to the border. Great place to ride. Kids are in Gilbert. You from the Phx area, or just there for school?

Hi Ladyjai:
My brother lives in Phoenix so I like riding down there when I visit him. What kind of bike do you ride?

hey, thanks for the welcome! I was born and raised here.

I ride an old Hard Rock Specialized. It was beat up before my dad got it for me and cleaned it up. but it has served me quite faithfully.

Hello! I'm new to road riding and live here in the Phoenix area too. Went to ASU too, btw. Great school, I think. I've been riding about a month now -- my husband is a big road rider and does century rides for the fun of it. I'm just starting, but luckily I'll move from my cushy commuter bike to my fancy new Orbea next week. I'm very excited!! Happy and safe riding!
