Ok, I’m starting to see signs that spring is on the way up here in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Today we came close to thawing out. So where is the snowline in North America? I WANT TO KNOW!

Snow line? Any place that keeps the same snow they got on the ground in November and still has the same snow in late April.

We have tons here in Winnipeg. +5c today but expecting up to 10 cm snow Sunday. I saw many bikes out today, even a motorcycle and of course lots of snomobiles. With the heavy snowfall this year we should have snow in April. We had a heavy dump last May.

Do the weather people expect flooding this year?

Hmm, no snow here since early January. In fact our high today is supposed to be in the low 60's (f). :D (we won't talk about the 60MPH wind gusts today. )

Rather than try to figure out which bike to ride on March 9th, we're still trying to guess which wax to use on our skis.

We just got whacked by a nasty snow storm. It drifted so much that most of the ground is bare, except for in front of doors, snow banks on the road shoulders, and behind my parked car  Should be a high in the mid-20's (F) today.

I'm not going to be able to ride until Memorial Day, at this rate :(

As quickly as the signs of thawing came they left with a good dumping of the white stuff. We have had an atypical winter here in Ottawa and now that spring is coming it decides to get typical. Weather man calls for another snow fall this weekend.

We have jack-shiza around here. This winter bit in terms of snow. Usually this is the time of year we're really getting dumped on. Instead it looks like an inch or two per night for the week, which'll about double the amount of snow we've had all winter. I hate global climate change.

Boise Idaho. 3.11.05 72 degrees. Snowline? going going gone at about 6,000 feet. It's going to be a long hot dry summer. Should probably just rip out my lawn now and get it over with.
