Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

We are purchasing new Raleigh Comfort Bikes. We thought we had settled on the SC40 but now we are thinking of the SC200 model. After looking at them we noticed that the only size they have for the women's bike is a 17". In the SC40 it was decided that I would need the 19" but they don't make that in the SC200. I am 5'7" with a 33" inseam size. Is this going to be too small of a bike? We would really like the better bikes but don't want too small of a bike. Any help on this matter would be appreciated since we are fairly new to this.
They have a stepthrough only in a 17", but you can certainly ride a mens if you have no problem with it. The design of the stepthrough is probably the same geometry as the "mens" style, so there isn't any difference in the fit. Size is more important than having a stepthrough design.
