Thought I would get my bike into gear today...as yesterday it was melting all day...SURPRISE! You know how March is...windy...

That it is...and Snow Storm...I plan to check my bike and get it into gear within a week's time, considering if this Ice & Snow leave...I won't take it to the road...just yet.

Hey welcome to the forum, I am originally from Winnipeg, but now in the nation's capital. What is the terrain like in Swan River, not sure if I've ever set foot in your part of Manitoba.

Hi...Machka! Yes Winnipeg is just 5 hrs drive from Swan River. I know there are different routes, for bikers there... out here in is country...and gravel roads..for 2 miles...and onto the highway. No such thing as a designated trail for bikers close by..if I would travel to the Duck Mountain Provincial Park with my vehicle ...and bike on the designated trails there...that is the only such thing for bikers. The city is good for that, such as Winnipeg!

Thanks..Gordon...
Terrain wise...I do is gravelwise...for now. I get riding and just like to fly. I hit the gravel road with my bike, and travel maybe as far & fast as I can go.

The terrain is highway here with vehicles...and dangerous at times with semi's & log trucks, etc. i like to go where ther are ski trails, and even down the way of there is a path I just like to view the country side, and ride. There is 2 mile stretch north of pathway, where I live and then hits gravel again. There is a place in the Duck Mountain Provincial Park, where there are designated trails. I would have to travel about 30 miles. So, if I would plan a bike ride, I would go to the hills.

What was it like in Winnipeg?
