Howdy -

I'm still looking for anyone who might be interested in riding from California to Alaska this summer - mid-May to mid-August. I've just finished the first part of - I don't know what to call it - a journal of sorts that combines aspects of a number of trips I have already taken in the American and Canadian Wests. It gives a general idea of the first third of the trip.

Can you clarify your plans and your journal? Is the journal a conglomeration of photos from other tours in the same areas, and the map is the plan for this summer? Or did you already do the first part of the trip from SF to Taos, and you are looking to repeat that part and continue, or re-start in Taos?

The journal is from previous trips - the map is this summer's plan - which, of course, will likely have a few alterations and detours as the journey progresses. I'll be starting in Half Moon Bay in mid-May - turning left at Taos in mid-June - then continuing on to Alaska by mid-August.
