Northeast - anyone out here from jersey?

Anyone of you guys took a part in the Bergen County Bicycle Tour (http://www.btcnj.com/BCBT.php) organized by the Bicycle Touring Club on North Jersey on June 5th (last Sunday)???

I was in the first 12-miles ride group that left about 1/2 hour after your group(s). Before the ride at least three photographers were taking pictures of our group (13 bicyclists), but I cannot find any way to get in touch with them.

Whereabouts on the Jersey shore? I've got a house down in Ocean City so I ride there just about every weekend.

Brick here and do a lot of riding in and around freehold. Have u been on the henry Hudson trail? Great place to ride with only 3% grades. We've been trying to get out at least once a week and ride some good places and last week tried a single track off road area. Let me know if u are interested in riding.

Ah yes I know the trail. My MTB is in pieces I'd have to put it back together. I've been riding the roadbike lately.

Feel free to pm me if u want to get a ride going. Road bike is fine for the HHT. The dirt stuff you would want the mtb. We can get a group ride down the trail and back downtown. Maybe grab lunch in town.

After the 4th of July weekend anyone from the Middlesex and Monmouth area let me know if you wanna get a weekend ride going, maybe we can set something up.

Old Bridge! That sounds like a pretty neat idea but I'm still pretty new to cycling. I've always been more of a runner. Bicycles have really just been a point a to point b thing for me. But I think that's going to change soon...

By the way, what's up with Frenchtown?

I did a mini-tour of Bucks County this weekend, and saw a smattering of roadies. On Sunday morning I crossed the bridge to Frenchtown and there were like 2 dozen cyclists all kitted out. ;)

Is it a big destination because of Rt 12 or something?

Any south jersey riders familiar with the Gloucester County College trails? I was nearby the other day and rode through but couldn't figure out where to hit the trails?

starting the hill/tails depends on your entrance to the Gloucester county college parking lot!

from st rt 55, exit onto alt 553 towards Woodbury. turn rt at light (Wawa will then be on your left, trophy store to right) to first road past bridge (Tanyard rd, +/- 0.01 mile). you'll go past Salina rd 4 way stop to GCC entrance. if you go past GC Voc/Tech school you've gone too far.
in GCC property, you will go Around a Bend past a security post to your left, the gym/athletic facility behind it. go to the first parking area past secuity post. park.

ride back to this Bend but go foward into the trails. there are some interesting hills there.
