I have a friend who is thinking of purchasing a Giant OCR1 or OCR2 bike. I am wondering about other peoples experiences with these two bikes, or any other suggestions in the same price range.

-Thanks

My brother has a TCR-2, which we both think is fantastic. It is super light for the price and came with a Shimano 105 group, and mavic open pro's. The only thing that we have found wrong with the bike is that it makes a lot of noise, the aluminium seems to reverberate sound through the frame. The cable housings move slightly in their brackets and this rattles through the frame. Other than the noise it is a great bike at a good price. I believe that these bikes have a weight limit of about 185pounds, a heavier person might have to look for a stronger frame.

CHEERS.
