Well I was just building a front wheel, getting down to the fine tuning here. I keep noticating that theres one place where i just cant seem to get it straight. So i get everything but this one spot true probably within .5mm is my guess, i bring the indicators in a little bit more and then the rim wont pass through on either side. I then look where it is, on the seam. Im using Sun rims which i am very fond of but i have seem defects in several, not noticable when riding. Has anybody encountered this or is it me?

I had my Mavic done with a dremel and polished @ the shop.
Little bulge -right 'side the seam.

Might have to do with the seam joining teq, welded or.
Rim brakes=yes bother, disc no if the wheel spins fine?

Quality control!

well its going to be with disc brakes so i dont think i will bother. Its pretty small, about 1mm. It just doesn't look as good when you spin the wheel and it bulges out instead of being nice and straight
