Hello,

My 26" wider tires provide excellent resistance to punctures, as well as good stability on dirt/gravel/railroad bed with a full touring load. Their rolling resistance seems excessive, however, possibly due to their weight or tread type, although they are not knobby.

Any suggestions for a tire that provides these benefits but are also easier to pedal around?

Thanks,
Wolfy

Slick urban commuter tyres such as the 1.5" Vredenstein S-Lick are ideal as touring rubber for all but expedition tours.
