I know I maybe behind the times but I was browsing through an old issue of the New York Times and came across something that is upsetting.

They are changing Bugs, I cannot believe it. Worse yet they are making him look sinister and alien. What is becoming of our world when they can change a great American icon like Bugs Bunny. I think I may never watch another WB show or movie again. .

Okay so I am not really mad, just disappointed in our media minds these days :(

I don't think it will last...this really ticked me off.

Does everything we do have to be so influenced by anime?

WTF????

That is messed up. I swear crap like that has to cause some sort of pyshological scarring. You might not be mad, but I am.

Remember when they got Tom and Jerry talking? As young as I was, I knew it was WRONG. I never watched them again. :(

Leave the classics alone! Sheesh!

No I don't remember. I've never seen Tom or Jerry talk, although Tom occasionally screamed, and Jerry's nephew was always making some kind of noise. Such a thing would be nearly as frightful as Wile E. Coyote talking.

Methinks this is limited to the one series...set in the year 2772. As for the overal brand image, the classic Bugs, etc isn't going anywhere. I'm not worried. They're not quite stupid enough to completely kill off some of the most widely-recognized character designs ever devised.

Thanks Dave, had me worried there for a second:)

Bugs rocks!

Another stellar idea from the marketing thought-free zone. Bugs and the gang haven't done anything funny for decades anyway. They lost all their appeal when slapstick suddenly started being regarded as too violent and they couldn't do it any more.

I dont care. I've still got my classic bugs on tape from when they did a WB marathon on cable last year.
