Thinking about buying one of these used. Mainly for thrashing around town or light dirt trails. Would this be the bike to get, or your 'normal' mountain bike hardtail like a Schwinn Moab, or a dual suspension bike like Mongoose Sommet or Kona Kikapu?

Seems like a pretty affordable toy to me. I checked the online reviews, (http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/2004_bmx/product_123657.shtml) and other than the fool that expects a sub $300 bike to take lots of abuse, it seemed like a good deal. It's cousin to my Haro Group 1 SX 24, which I'm quite happy with. I think if you get it, you'll have a good time thrashing on it.

the whole haro backtrail series is very good. i owuldn't get the 24" my self but if thats what u want, its a good bike, go for it. or and... dont get a mongoose mtn bike unless u plan to spend the money on one of their team issue mtn bikes.
