Two nights ago I had this dream that I got this really bad head cold while I was at a hotel in Miami (I'll be there next week). I went down to the hotel sundries shop to find some cold medicine and the kids working there laughed and said no one sells cold medicine in Miami in the summer. Didn't even have a throat lozenge. So I walked around miserable with my head cold trying to find my rental car. Michael and Janet Jackson sat poolside. Janet was on her cellphone saying she'd pick up the bar tab. She looked good and had lost a lot of weight. Michael was the old Michael. I skeedattled out of there, found my rental car and ended up at the airport still dragging from my cold....
....next morning I wake up with a sore throat. This morning the sore throat is worse and now I have a head cold. I'm sitting here with my mug of Airborne and bottle of zinc thinking that's one of the weirdest subconsious interactions I've had. I didn't feel sick all week and never thought about being sick. And now I'm sick. Hopefully Michael and Janet will not show up at my hotel in Florida. They are weird.
