I just had a small crash with my bike: I fell and I think I might have damaged the rear derailleur. While pedalling the derailleur makes clicking noises and I can see that it's not at the right angle; could I just have "dis-adjusted" it or is something bent/broken?
:'(

Probably a bent hanger. Take it to a shop and have it aligned and derailleur adjusted.

Do you think they'll do it for free or does it usually cost money?

That's usually about a $15.00 or $20.00 job.
