Mountain Biking - Rock Shox Judy TT VS Judy SL

Would it be worth upgrading from a Judy TT to a Judy SL. I don't much technical riding with the exception of some pretty rough down hill from time to time. The Judy TT is doing ok for what I do, but for what I can get the SL for if it is better then I will do it.

getting SL would give you the oppurtunity to have 100mm travel, having said that they are both entry level forks and the SL arent really worth the $130 you'd have to part with. It might be worth saving up and getting a mid range fork instead. you dont save any weight they both come in at4.07 lb. (1.82 kg). Although you would get the added advantage of a better ride the Sl comes with a Hydra Coil with Air Assist over the TT's coil spring. Maybe if you have a spare $130 it might actually be worth it, how much do you really need the forks tho?

Probably not that much. We ride up a mountain a couple times a week and coming down there is a lot of ruts and gravel. My fork handles it well though and right now I don't want to spend a lot on another one. Which fork would you recommend without going high end?

I just bought a Duke SL for 200 bucks and i love it so far, its got 100mm of air travel and the rebound adjuster is wonderful and easy to change as its on the outside of the fork.

If i had it to do over again i might have gone with a marzocchi as RockShox is in and out of chapter 11 so support if it breaks might not be easy to find, but i do love the fork so far. its a world beter than the indy C i had on it before

What about a Manitou Six Deluxe? It looks like a better fork than both the Judy's and has a great price at Supergo right now?
