Just thought I'd let you all know it arrived today. Picked it up this evening. Didn't get much ride time yet. It is one beautiful machine. Looks better than I expected. Can't wait to rack up some miles on it.

It looks awesome...very very aggressive. I actually took one for a ride on Monday when I was test riding all day at about 8 different LBS.
It's nice and fast and I loved the way the seat feels. But at $1,200, it was way out of my budget.
Nevertheless, awesome bike! Congrats!

What do you mean rack up some miles on it?
If you ride it too much you might end up scratching it. That would be a crying shame.
Some say it's easier after the first scratch on a new bike but I put another scratch on my 2 year old bike the other day and it still hurts.
It looks great. Enjoy your riding.

That is indeed bee-you-tee-ful! Congratulations, and don't worry about getting scratches on it. Bikes look even better when they've clearly been well used.

Going cyclocross eh?? Are there alot of dirt roads around your place? I've often thought taking a cyclocross bike on dirt roads would be tons of fun.
Are you planning on riding trails with it?

Furbar, I read somewhere about your dad pulling the internet plug from you. I'm not sure where you are located (sorry, all I can tell is that you're above the equator :o ). But if you're in the States, you could get free dial up service. Let me know if you're interested. If so I'll ask my buddies who use it for the website. The only problem with it is that during peak hours (afternoons & evenings), you may have a real difficult time connecting. It may take up to 1/2 hr to connect!!! :crash:
Hey but it's free! While you're trying to connect, you can pretend to be in front of the PC writing that history term paper.

That's what I thought. Maybe you should get the job of taking their promotional shots.

Thanks Guys! I still haven't really ridden it much. It was extremely windy today and looked like it could rain any minute so I rode the MTB instead. Trails were finally dry enough. Didn't want to get my new baby wet yet! :)
One thing I noticed was that the wheels are black and they aren't on the website. I was glad because I like the black better. I wonder if that has something to do with the fact that it looks better? Anyway, thanks again for the comments.
Fubar: The Katy Trail is really close to my house and I plan on using it there a lot. Also when we go camping there are no trails but loads of great gravel roads.
We're going camping this weekend so it should get lots of use!:D
