Hey everyone,
If anyone has vacation time for June, I have an idea. I go on Freewheel (http://www.okfreewheel.com) every year. This year it is going to be in the east part of Oklahoma. Many people have heckled me about recumbents climbing and such. I want to break that stigma. Anyone game?

I think J Foltz and myself already broke that stigmata at the hilly hundred in Indiana. passing a few thousand cyclists on a 50 mile course is quite the fun. I did look at that ride actually, but I chose to do Brat again in September in Tennessee. Starting in Chattanooga, so I think this will be way hillier than Oklahoma. It did look like you guys had some good rollers there from the pics, but I didn't see any 5 and 10 mile climbs there. I like the 10 mile climbs, because once you get to the top, you have that awesome trip back down.

See if you can get the RAT riders to do it! Or Aikigreg - he should have his Baron legs by then. I have to say, it looks like there's just enough hills there to get in the way of some serious flats speed work. Does that ride have some fast pacelines?
Hey Chris Evans,, Got any more backsafers to sell.!!

The ride sounds like fun. Do you do it every year? I might consider putting it on my list for a future year... Unfortunately all of my vacation time for this year is already called-for.

As a matter of fact, yes I do. It has an optima fiberglass seat on it and underseat steer. Who is this? Are you the guy from Midland?

Hey Chris, did aikigreg buy your tailbox or is it still available?

I know what an optima fiberglass seat is about, but what is a backsafers? I assume it's not a misprint?
Still learning.

P.S. I'm the guy from Temecula, CA where we have mountains, not hills:)

I believe a Backsafer is a low-cost folding recumbent. Chris evidently has an Optima seat on it.
