Cyclocross - Newbie question: Inline brake levers
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I guess I should know this, but when you add a set of inline brake levers to your bike, can you install them so both sets of brake levers work? Just trying to figure out how this is done.

yes. the way top-mounts work is that they push the cable housing. this increases the distance the cable has to travel and actuates the brake. they are designed to work without interfering with the main levers.
I see. Great, thanks a lot for the explanation!
