I have an opportunity to get a rarely ridden road bike for CHEAP. Anyone ever heard of Mashigi (sp?)? It's a 10 speed with all shimano components circa 1995. I've never heard of the manufacturer. Any info out there? My LBS told me it would be hard to get parts for but the shop I'm actually buying it from says no.

You mean Nishiki?
Its big in Europe, but you can't find any in the States.
Stick with a Cannondale which you get a lot of value for the price.

Thanks Brian. This should end this thread. I wound up buying it. It's a great bike, clean and smooth riding although an intriguing mystery to me. I think it's quite a bit older than the '95 I thought it was. Could be 80's. Nice bike.
