That ole carbug messes up some good riding time in our lives. When I was 16 I couldn't wait to get in a car,now at 42 I can't wait to get on a bike.

Yeah the car thing is fun, but it messes to many important things up. To expensive and becomes a lifestyle that has now put me in a position in life I never thought i'd be in. I guess if you put your whole life toward anything other things get neglected. Oh well, i've changed now, I can focus on more important things like riding!
 Welcome, Chad!
How is the cycling in the Cincinnati area? I'm mostly roadie, just experimenting with off-road. My brother is really leaning on me to move to Cinci next summer-sounds like a nice place, but I'd like to hear more about cycling culture.
Again, welcome to the forums!

Cincinnati actually has some decent trails. Most of them are pretty moderate and just a fun ride. We have one here though that I love. I'd rank it up with Tsali, it's a very challenging run.
Overall if you like to mtb Cincinnati can keep you happy.

We also have a sizeable road riding community. In the summer there are various group rides all over town. Because we are within an 1 1/2 drive of cities in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio you can take advantage of rides organized by the cycling clubs in other areas. We have a paved rails to trails trail called the Little Miami Bike trail. It goes from Cincinnati to Yellow Springs. Approximately 70 mi. In Xenia there are connectors that extend the trail. There are plans for a commuter trail from the east side of town to the downtown area. Our Metro bus system just installed bike racks on their buses for commuters who work in the downtown area.
For mtn biking you can go to West Virginia. There is some awesome, and over my head, biking around Snowshoe and Canaan Valley.
