March 15th and it still has not broken 30 more than a couple days this year (in Cleveland). Perhaps there is hope for April. It does not really matter though, I bike year round. I would however just like to get on the bike and ride w/o spending 20 minutes making sure I have on all the right gear.

Yup, wearing 10 pounds of clothes & blowing snot rockets every five minutes is getting kinda old.

They taste a lot worse than hot pockets i 'll bet. It is very annoying having your nose run faster than you ride.

Will be nice to not have so many things to wash all the time.. let the rains come down and wash away all this salt now.... so we can put the beaters to rest..

Once I get on the bike I'm fine. But....
It's a lot harder to get going when you have to put on that 10 lbs. of clothing first. It takes me maybe 15 minutes. So I have to add about 30 min to every ride. Never mind all the normal stuff like check the tires and get water. I need to ride in a jersey and shorts. :(

Right now there is too much snow in the shade on the path in some places, to ride a road bike up the path. Yesterday I went to the Mt. Hope bridge on the road. I checked the path in a few places, it still needs some melting. The road is also wet and sandy. I was glad to have a bike with fenders. Send me a PM on Saturday to check again if you like. I will probably be on the path Friday or Saturday.
You just reminded me to go to the show on the 20th,thanks.

OK, Thanks, but the weather doesn't look too good for Sunday and the first day of spring!
I'll still go on the NBW ride no matter what, but maybe not from Newport.

OK,
what kind of bike will be with you at the show? Even if I can't ride I may go for a little while just to look around.
