Road Cycling - Clipless Pedals

I'm looking for a particular pedal. I believe that it was distributed by Trek a couple of years ago. Its special feature was that it will not spin backwards, therefor forcing you to keep constant pressure on the entire pedal stroke. Vaughters was pushing it at one point. Any suggestions?

It will have to be a fixed gear. The pedal has nothing to do with this. The pedal has to be able to rotate or you will not be able to pedal.

Fix gear is what track bikes use. They are very good for early season training if you are at the level Vaughters was in. However I do not recommend it for many riders as it is very dangerous in traffic.

Many use fix gears for a few days and give up. This doesn't aid you in your performance. This in the addition to the many that get in accidents due to this. You have to be very aware that you cannot stop pedaling or well... you'll find out in a split second.

Perhaps you are thinking of Power Cranks. They move independently of each other; you cannot let the downstroke of one side push the other pedal up. The same effect of pedalling with one leg but for both legs.
