Okay, This weekend, I was changing out handlebars and moving my syntace C2's to my new set up. When I went to loosen the bolt on the underside (which holds the bars on the base bar), the bolt popped and spun freely. After loosening the other side, it just fell out of the threads. Now, it won't tighten, as it just spins. Does anyone know Syntace's warranty policy? I have had these for a little over a year, and do not have my original proof of purchase. Will they replace them, or help me out? Is there any way to fix this problem? I am at a loss.....
Thanks for any help.

Put this in the bicycle mechanics forum as well. Can't really help you as it sounds like the thread has failed in which case there's nothing you can do I can think of.

Sorry buddy, just pray the warranty policy is a good one and dig out all your old VISA bills!

Looks like you're in luck, my man, check this out (copied and pasted from Syntace's web site):

Warranty Terms
Syntace USA and Syntace GmbH (collectively,“Syntace”) warrant the original retail purchaser that the covered product is free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is valid for three years from the date of purchase. Syntace’s sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace, at Syntace’s option, the Syntace product in question. Limitations of the Warranty The duration of any implied warranty regarding condition, merchantability, and fitness for an application or otherwise is limited to the duration of the express warranty above. In no event shall Syntace be responsible in any way for any loss, inconvenience or damage that results from breach of any express or implied warranty as set forth above. This is my problem. I paid for them with cash and I can't find the receipt...cripes! I e-mailed them with the situation and am awaiting their reply.

I saw that as well. Good luck dealing with them. Let us know how things turn out.

Why not just drill it out and tap it at the next size up?
