I have watched this film 4 times to date and still cant understand the plot. I understand the message behind the film, no worries, but as to actually what happens in the last half an hour or so, somebody help! was it all in his mind, is patrick bateman really who he thinks he is, what is going on? :mad: :mad: :mad:

maybe read the book, the book is pretty well regarded -the film isn't.

I only saw part of the film and wasn't impressed, the book however has been on my 'to read' list for quite some time.

bret easton ellis did come under fire by some groups for alledged "misogynist writings", but I think people probably need to (1) lighten up and realize it is a work of fiction, and (2) read the 1st amendment
