So far I have seen Breaking Away, and the Bicycle Thief ( well 95% of it) I was wondering if any one else has any movie thoughts on this topic. CC:beer:

don't laugh but for my a good cycling movies are the 1992, 1999 2000,2001, Tour de france VCR tapes, I have watch these tapes a several times already and I don't get tired watching it......

There is also American Flyers , Quick Sliver and The Unknown Cyclist. I own Breaking away and American Flyers on DVD, will soon own Quick Silver. Have not been able to find The Unknown Cyclist yet though.

I don't think the Unknown Cyclist was ever released. The website vanished long ago.

It was on cable TV for a while. I have only seen parts of it. From what I know about the movie it is about a guy who dies of AIDS related complications. And his friends, a famiy member and his life partner embark on one of the AIDS charity rides with his ashes. They face their own demons along the way. I think they do eventually spread his ashes, though I do not think it was in the intended place. I'm not real sure on that. It looks like a good movie to own. I hope to find a copy of it one day. Why did the web site vanish?
