I'm looking for a bike that will fit me. I need a low stand over height but a crazy- long top tube. Yeah you're right short legs long body. My Mesa gs fits 'okay' but I can't stretch out. Does anyone know of a brand or model that
might work.javascript:smilie('')

When looking for long top tubes, make sure that the extra length is in front of the bottom bracket, not behind it.

I would suggest a visit to a couple of bike shops armed with a tape measure and a plumb-line.

You could buy an over-sized MTB or compact road frame. You would get less clearance than needed for off-roading, but the extra length of a larger bike. Make sure you dont get over-sized cranks with your bike. short legs need short cranks.
