Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Yoshida Champ grips (brief review)

Received a pair of clear 2mm yoshida champ grips. I am really impressed. These are better than strong-g. They seem to be made of better rubber. They have a semi-rough texture which is grippier than strong-g. I have the 2mm version which is slightly thicker than strong-g. I suspect the 3mm and 4mm are more cushier (esp. if you don't use gloves). The 'clear' I got is not really clear, more like translucent. You can put some sticker underneath for some cool points.

Was looking at some of these and now may stop looking and start getting. Thanks for the handy review.

i just mounted a pair last night. went on pretty easy with windex, and they're going nowhere now... i like that they tell me i'm a 'champ' when i look down at my bars.

Had you tried the Strong Gs with the imbedded cord? Those are pretty grippy.
If only my bike was a little more colorful- I'd have the Yoshidas on already... I have a full selection at the shop right now. Pretty!

i know trackstar has some keirin grips - not sure if they're yoshidas though. call 'em.
