I recently bought Specialized 700x47c tires which are actually just 38mm in width.
Does any one any wide 700c tires that are actually wide(42-47) not just labeled as wide

BTW I have a hybrid with 21mm rims measured on outside and need tires mostly for road use and occasional use on soft sandy patches.

Thanks,
Alex

My understanding is that the labelling system re: widths is not standardized and is often innacurrate. I don't know why that is, but I've heard it numerous times.
