In a pinch, used Shimano XTR block in my Jagwire holders.
Fit fine, Jagwire has better pads, if you run XTR cartridge, maybe check them out.

I figure it saves maybe 5$ per fit replacement instead of whole blocks.

As far as I know, all v-brake pads are the same size.

I figure it saves maybe 5$ per fit replacement instead of whole blocks.There is another advantage of buying just the pads as opposed to buying the whole cartridge. You won't have to adjust them after installation. Of course, that is based on the assumption that they were properly adjusted to begin with.

Why I'm on the XTR. They are o.k...
