Hey riders, I know this doesn't relate to mountain biking, however I am an avid expert racer and I trust the opinions and comments from my fellow riders.

As a freelance web designer/3d artist, I am in search of web design projects that anyone may have (i.e. Bike shops, Cafe's, Ice Cream Shoppes, Doctor's Offices.. etc) to strengthen my portfolio. I would prefer to work on a site related to the cycling industry, however I will take on anything.

For a reference, you can view www.mtbmind.com (New England race oriented site).

Thanks!

Hey Niterider, I like your work. I designed my own site from scratch with absolutely no web experience last fall. I would love some help with it, but I don't know how expensive you are or if it would be worth improving. But if you wanted to work something out for another cyclist, that would be great!

Dave, your site could definitely use some design work. I like the idea you have going about documenting your future trips over the americas by taking photos and displaying your proposed route. Perhaps you may want to include information to people that are interested in similar trips (various routes, getting started.. etc), or make this one trip you have going into an annual event.

I typically charge anywhere between $20-$45 p/hr if I am editing existing work, however I also charge a flat rate for designing entire sites or redesigning existing ones. I would be willing to work out a deal with cycling oriented sites though.

Get back to me by e-mail and let me know what you can do.

Thanks,
