have two little scratches and one little chip... all three are ONLY on the clear coat. Should i put paint or something over these? Or should i just leave them alone?

A lot of carbon is bare, I don't think you need to do it for protection. You may want to do it for looks. Try a hobby shop for some gloss clear. Testors works pretty good.
