my current philosophy is never up never in, go big or go home, if it's worth doing it's worth doing well, yada, yada, yada.

I'm riding tomorrow (Sunday) with the big boys, rain or shine, dropped (probably) or not.

cancelled due to bad weather ... icy roads last Sunday. They're off again this Sat. I'm going to see if I can get some free time from the wife ... its been a heavy work week and I haven't exactly been around much.

I'll let you know how soon into the ride I get dropped with a new post.

I was out of town on Sunday so I didn't know about the weather. I'm not in good enough shape to race yet although I'm planning on joining GVCC later this year. The route was just around the corner from where I live so let me know when it's reschedule and I can grab a lawn chair, a hot toddy and help motivate (antagonize) you as you go by... :D

Do you respond better to generic taunts such as "pick it up" or inspirational comments focusing on your riding style such as “quit riding the bike side saddle”?

Ask anyone ... I respond the best to Ben and Jerry's ice cream. They've got this "peace pop" on a stick product that you could just throw at me as I go by. It's guaranteed to be good for an extra 5 mph.
