I have the The Burley Alternative Hitch for my Nomad, the spring on the hitch got messed up, looked like it got traped and streched. Anyone had this problem? Do I really need those springs?
Thanks,

If you are talking about what I think you are, that spring is the hitch, that is the join between the bike and trailer. You should get it looked into.

The alternative hitch replaces the rear quick release skewer. Is it one of the quick release springs that's messed up? If that's all that it is, I wouldn't worry about it.

quick release springs
Yes, that's what it is, that quick release spring was so bad I had to though it out.
Thanks,
