hello
just read about orange peels to lower cholesterol. has anyone tryied that? am wondering how much is needed per day. the article didn't say. it did say it can work better then the drugs and without side effects. did try and eat some and its not as bad as it sounds. if put in a smoothie or breakfast drink it might not be tasted.
please advise

There's a supplement on the market called Sytrinol

Until the human clinical trials are done, I think I'll stick to oatmeal.

I can not tell you about orange peels. But, if it works for you, tell us about it.

I read an article in the Consumer's Report "On Health". It said that aerobic type exercise helped elevate the high density, "good" cholesterol, while muscle building exercise helped lower the low density or bad cholesterol. Cycling in the mountains gives me both types of exercise and my cholesterol readings came within specs when I restarted to bike (actually recumbent trike).

Perhaps you already ride enough to make this information meaningless.
