How can you not love Wes Anderson (Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou) and Paul Thomas Anderson (Hard Eight[Sydney], Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Punch Drunk Love). And -no-, they're not related ;-)

Wes can go fly a kite, while PT should keep making films that aren't self-indulgent, i.e. Punch Drunk Love, which made me want to vomit, albeit in a good way.

They're BOTH pretty wonderful at their best. That "Life Aquatic" was a big disappointment. Not equal to the sum of it's parts.

"the heat will rock you"
The life aquatic was the best movie I saw this year. I loved everything about it. perfect cast , the music rocked , the ocean and scenery was fun to watch , props , etc. Wes Anderson is a genius. If I was going to make a movie that was it.
