My war! You're one of them!

I love that song.

I think if you listen to the Mohinder discography at anything above six, it will shatter your eardrums.

']Pailhead - I Will Refuse

Y'know, I often forget how good that song is. Then I end up listening to it over and over for a week straight. Time to go dig that 7" out.

Thanks!

John Tesh. No one likes John Tesh! I thought he had good stuff up until he started to call himself singing on the albums. Now that's nasty.

anything on Amon Tobin's Supermodified, the recording is horrible, not sure what happened.

Songs you can't play too loudly

I assume you mean songs that one might play at "11" if possible?

Dunno why, but this one comes to mind: Probot - Red War
And these:
Metallica - Master Of Puppets
Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath Creepy as hell-listening to it right now
Black Sabbath - Supertzar<-I don't think most people would realize this is Sabbath
Ah, hell, Sabbath just needs to be cranked! Ahem, excuse me-"crunk", I mean.

when i was walking to the subway this morning someone had the song "When a Man Loves a Woman" blasting from their apartment. several highschool kids noticed it and were singing along...really mocking it by belting it out. i just had to shake my head, smile, and carry on.

your title is ambiguous ... it can be taken two ways.

so I suppose my answer would be ... Ravel's Boléro

Fugazi Dave
03-23-05, 04:19 PM
Ambiguous indeed, though not intentionally. To clarify, I'm talking about songs that, no matter how loudly you have them turned up, never sound like too much.

Neurotica - All My Friends Crush You Catchy tune-rather infectious.
The Offspring - Bad Habit Esp. in the cage, hehe. "...you stupid, dumb****, goddamn mother****er!"

What gets me me here is the fact that the highschool kids knew the words. Mock it they may, but you don't learn the words unless you really liked it -- at some time!

My songs you can't play too loud:

Golden Earring: Radar Love and Twilight Zone.
Tainted love (the original one). . .

There're more, but I never can remember the names/artists of most of the songs I like to play loud.

And what's the title of the relatively new song with the chorus "here comes the rooster. . ."

Add Aldo Nova, life is just a fantasy, to the list. Heard that this morning before work channel surfing. I think it was on VH 1 classic. 500 watt surround sound at 6 am. Yeah Baby!

I may only be 17 but I totally agree with that. I have a 6 disc Cd changer and the first 2 are the essential clash 1 and then 2nd is number 2 Let those go straight and hardly ever change.

After that You guys should give Interpol a try anything on that album especially slowhands and public pervert.

Any Mahavishnu Orchestra with the original band. Crazy and loud intense guitar solos with very complicated beats.

Can't believe I forgot "One step closer" by Linkin Park. Greatest song in the last decade to blow out the speakers with. And perfect length, any longer I might hurt myself when it comes on. :D
